- can be easier since you already know how to care for a newborn.
- is harder because you have to manage two sleep schedules, two personalities, two times (or more) stuff, two times (or more) the volume level.
- is easier than having the first one because your body bounces back faster (except for that pooch of fat up front that is resistant to disappearing).
- can be harder when you feel like your four-year-old plays favorites and knows all the right (or wrong!) buttons to push.
- is more expensive.
- is gratifying since you know that the kids will have each other when you're gone.
- shows you how great your partner is at managing all the conflicting needs in the house.
- makes you think about what slaves our brains are to hormones.
- helps you understand the effects of nature vs. nurture.
- is great because you remember that the loneliness, claustrophobia and isolation of parenting the very young child will go away some day.
- makes you realize that combing your hair is vastly over-rated.
